Tile and Grout
Tile and more importantly, grout, can be difficult to get clean. Just like vacuuming your carpet is not enough to get it completely clean, mopping is not enough to remove embedded soil from the rough areas and groutlines of your tile. Many customers call us after spending hours on their hands and knees trying to get dark, dirty grout to match the color of the grout under area rugs or in the corners where very little foot traffic occurs. Many people think of Exceptional Cleaning Solutions for carpet cleaning, but we can provide the same amazing results for your tile and grout. We have special cleaners that are tough on your dirt but gentle on your woodwork and we hand scrub your grout to loosen soil that has become trapped then use high pressure and heat to rinse away the grime, leaving your floors Exceptionally clean! We offer a sealant to provide a barrier from the porous grout. A quality sealer lasts 3-5 years and can make maintaining your floors easier between professional cleanings. Very few floors have ever been sealed as a sealer cannot be applied when a floor is installed for 48-72 hours afterward. If grout has become permanently stained, a colored sealer can be applied to alter or restore the grout color. Color sealer is more expensive but also more durable than clear sealer.
Natural Stone Cleaning
Natural Stone is cleaned in a similar way to tile and grout but with more gentle, stone-specific cleaners and lower water pressure to avoid etching or damaging softer stones such a marble, limestones, or some travertines.
